Our History
Our founder and CEO, Manuel Romero, started exporting for a banana producers association called Agroban from 2014 until 2018. The next year, the board of directors decided to focus its resources on other activities and decided to cancel the operation, so Manuel decided to continue the exports with his company Segrati. With over six years of experience, we can ensure our customers that we will take care of their fruit to give the best quality with a transparent trading process. Segrati started with only fresh bananas, but in the recent years we have expanded our product catalogue to suit our customers necessities and the growing market.

Our mission is to select and ensure the best Ecuadorian tropical fresh products through rigorous quality control and certifications in growing, harvesting and packing the fruit to accomplish our customers confidence and complete satisfaction. Our vision is to deliver any fresh Ecuadorian product to anywhere in the world.

Quality assurance
We are committed to deliver the best processes of harvesting, packaging and trading of fresh products. Every year we sign unbreakable contracts with preselected growers to secure the best quality for our customers. Our inspections are private and independent to make sure we control all the process of harvest and packaging.
We make sure that the producers have GAP Agrocalidad Certifications for a consistent premium quality for selective markets like China, Saudi Arabia and United Araba Emirates
Locations
Segrati is present in every region of Ecuador to be able to work with producers that deliver the best quality of fruits and vegetables.
Our Cavendish bananas are harvest from the provinces of Guayas and los Ríos, known globally for growing the best quality of bananas for over a century. Plantains are grown in the province of Manabí, where the soil and weather are ideal to be able to grow large and tasty plantains. Then in the high province of Cotopaxi we harvest the fresh baby bananas, a more fun version to eat the typical fruit.
